WHO WILL SUFFER?

There's much debate at present about which level(s) of cricket might suffer if the top Tests are removed from Sky Sports by Government edict and returned to conventional TV channels, with a big forecast drop in income.
First class counties do very well from the share-out of cash, and have a very big say in how the game is run. So there are real fears 'grassroots' cricket is going to see funding reduced, if TV dosh is lost.
I know my MP, Brigg and Goole's Ian Cawsey, is a keen supporter of cricket (with Alkborough connections), and that he visits Lincs Cricket Latest from time to time.
So let's hope he can find out what's going on and will maybe be able to put in a word on behalf of grassroots cricket, if that proves necessary.
