I've just spent a very enjoyable hour looking through my scrapbooks for the period 1985-9 ahead of tonight's talk on Minor Counties cricket to the Lincolnshire Cricket Lovers at Cleethorpes CC (7.30pm).
A few things I'd forgotten about have surfaced, and I've found the long-lost cutting for the match when a certain Mr Cork took four wickets for Staffordshire against Lincolnshire at Bignall End. But was it a young Dominic, later to play for England?
I'm looking forward to giving the talk but there's such a wealth of interesting information in our archives that I wonder how much we will fit into the time available.
