One of the area’s most popular speakers is the special guest
at the first Lincolnshire Cricket Lovers’ Society meeting of 2012.
Mike Heath will be at Cleethorpes Cricket Club on Tuesday,
17 January at 7.30pm to talk about some of his own cricketing experiences and,
in his own inimitable style, will undoubtedly inject a great deal of humour
into his stories.
Mike played much of his cricket for Market Rasen and is
still in touch with the game through his sons John and Duncan, who now plays
for Appleby Frodingham.
Another well known name is the speaker at the final Cricket
Lovers’ meeting in February when former Gloucestershire player Andy Stovold
visits Cleethorpes.
Admission is free to Society members and £5 for guests.
