A surprising number of emails have come my way since Wednesday night's Lincs League meeting on the topic of the suggested switch to online scorecards and registrations.
So much so that I've decided to create a forum on Lincs Cricket Latest and seek comments and suggestions from those for and against the move.
If/when the league creates a working party to look further into this issue, information posted on this website may well prove useful.

The East Yorkshire Alliance have adopted an online scorecard through play-cricket this year . They also have a standard league scorebook in which each club scores and creates a carbon copy there and then to send off to the league .
ReplyDeleteIn 2010 every club will have access to a computer and I think it is a good idea to generate information about the games that can be accessed by anyone anywhere in the world . I do know for a fact that events covered in Brigg Towns play-cricket website are seen by ex players in Australia .
Another ' for' online scoresheets would be the new developments in mobile phones which would enable scoresheets to be sent online as soon as the match was finished .
