LINCOLNSHIRE UMPIRES TO HOLD TRAINING COURSE
The
Lincolnshire Association of Cricket Officials are organising a Level 1A Umpires
Course for members who would like to improve their knowledge and understanding
of the Laws of Cricket and their skills as an umpire. It is designed for those
members who would like to progress further and also as a revision
course.
Gareth Dowson, the Publicity Officer and Training
Co-ordinator, would like to hear from any member who would like to take the
course which will be held at:
BRACEBRIDGE HEATH CRICKET CLUB
PAVILION on Saturday 21st MARCH and Saturday 28th MARCH
2015 from 10am to 4pm each day.

SCUNTHORPE UMPIRES START 8-WEEK TRAINING COURSE ON MONDAY
Scunthorpe and District Cricket Umpires' Association starts an eight-week training course for new umpires at 7am on Monday, October 6, at Appleby-Frodingham Cricket Club's Brumby Hall cricket pavilion, off Ashby Road, Scunthorpe (near the Pods leisure centre).
Those interested are asked to turn up ahead of the start time on Monday night, or attend on subsequent Mondays. There is no charge for the tuition.
Last autumn, SIX people successfully completed the course and went on to umpire in league games during 2014.
